Introduction
Princess Guangde (1454–1484), named Zhu Yanxiang, was the daughter of Ming Yingzong and born to Consort Wancheng. She was born during Ming Yingzong's confinement in the Southern Palace. In the first year of Tianshun (1457), after Ming Yingzong's restoration, her status was confirmed. There are no clear records regarding when Zhu Yanxiang was conferred the title of princess. On October 22, in the eighth year of Chenghua (1472), she was officially titled Princess Guangde Chang and married Fan Kai, with whom she had four sons and two daughters. The princess passed away in the twentieth year of Chenghua (1484) at the age of thirty-one. She was buried on Cuiwei Mountain plain, in the imperial mausoleum area of Jingshan in Beijing. Her husband, Fan Kai, was also buried with her.
