Zhu Gaoxi

Zhu Gaoxu, the fourth son of Ming Chengzu Zhu Di, was born on January 18, 1392. His mother was Consort Wu, of the Kangmu Yigong Hui noble family. His date of birth corresponds to the 24th day of the twelfth month of the 24th year of Hongwu (which is January 4, 1392, in the Gregorian calendar). He died within a month of his birth and did not survive to reach childhood. After Ming Chengzu ascended to the throne, no noble titles were posthumously conferred upon him. According to historical records such as "Ming Shi" (History of Ming), "Ming Shu" (Book of Ming), "Ming Shilu" (Veritable Records of Ming), and "Yanshantang Biejì" (Yanshan Hall Collected Works), information about Zhu Gaoxu is mainly centered on his birth and early death.
