Liu Xianghui

Liu Xianghui, born on June 16, 2012, is the daughter of Hong Kong celebrity Liu Dehua (Andy Lau) and Zhu Lichan. She was born in Hong Kong; her parents registered her birth at the Admiralty Government Offices and officially gave her the name “Liu Xianghui.” Her family background includes her father Liu Dehua, born September 27, 1961 in Tai Hing Village, Tai Po, New Territories, Hong Kong, whose original name is Liu Furong and who works as an actor, singer, and producer. Her mother, Zhu Lichan, was born April 6, 1966 in Penang, Malaysia, with ancestral roots in Zhao’an, Fujian; she was formerly a beauty pageant contestant and print model.

In 2012 the family moved to Mankton Hill, and arrangements were made for Liu Xianghui to attend an international school, where she receives a relatively relaxed education. Liu Dehua has publicly said he does not want his daughter to work too hard, displaying his indulgence toward her. Her interests include artistic creation; she has held an art exhibition in collaboration with her father. In media interviews, Liu Dehua has said his daughter excels in art and has even suggested she may be more talented than he is.

Regarding family relationships, Liu Xianghui is close to her father, Liu Dehua. Her mother, Zhu Lichan, provides childcare. Because of her parents’ public status, Liu Xianghui often appears at family events. In April 2015 she was publicly exposed for the first time, and her delicate features drew media attention. The following notable public appearance was in December 2018, when she made her first appearance in public at Liu Dehua’s world tour concert, showing a shy demeanor. She has also appeared at school sports days and other activities, with her mother accompanying her.

On November 20, 2023, Liu Dehua’s father, Liu Li, passed away; Liu Xianghui attended the funeral with her parents. In December 2024, at age 11, she watched her father’s concert with classmates.
