Ye Hanlin, male, Han ethnicity, born in November 1923, from Taixing City, Jiangsu Province. He began participating in revolutionary work in November 1942 and joined the Chinese Communist Party in March 1944. His professional career was primarily in the Fuzhou Military Region, where he held several important positions, including Director of the Organizational Planning Department of the Political Department, Head of the Cadre Department of the Northern Min Front Command, Political Commissar of the Guard Regiment 72, Political Commissar of the 7th Guard Division, Deputy Political Commissar and Political Commissar of the 31st Army, as well as Deputy Director of the Political Department of the Fuzhou Military Region.

In military operations, he participated in numerous significant campaigns and battles, such as Xinghua, Gaoyou, the Sino-Japanese Defensive and Counterattack, Haian, Yannan, Muhyang, Huaihai Campaign, the Crossing the River Campaign, and the military advances into Fujian. These experiences reflect his active involvement in China's military history.

Ye Hanlin retired in 1987 but continued to receive appropriate recognition and honors. In July 2021, he revisited his Party membership oath at the First Retired Cadre Rest Home of the Fuzhou Military Region in Fujian Province and was awarded the "50 Years of Distinguished Service in the Party" Medal. Additionally, his deeds are documented in the 2007 book "Records of Founding Generals and Their Feats," published by China Workers Publishing House.

On October 24, 2024, Ye Hanlin passed away at the age of 101 in Fuzhou, Fujian Province, due to illness. His death was officially confirmed, marking the end of his long life and his contributions to the nation and the military.
