This individual transferred to the Department of Music Literature at the China Conservatory of Music in December 1984 and has worked at this institution ever since. His main professional responsibilities include teaching undergraduate courses such as "Poetry Appreciation" and "Opera Appreciation and Analysis"; specialized courses like "Introduction to Lyrics" and "Lyric Writing"; foundational theories and guidance on musical theater composition; as well as graduate courses such as "Operatic Aesthetics."
Additionally, he has led the college-organized "Music Literature Advanced Studies Class" and "Specialized Music Literature Course," and participated in managing and teaching during the 1998 "Musical Theater and Popular Music Composition Advanced Class," covering topics like "Fundamentals of Musical Theatre" and "Music Composition Guidance," including guiding project conception and scriptwriting.
In his professional development, he was appointed as a lecturer in music literature at Tianjin Conservatory of Music and Beijing Modern Music Training College. In terms of creative work, he has composed the chamber opera "Su Xiaoxiao" (written by graduate students and Malaysian exchange student Huang Meiling), the large-scale opera "Qin Shi Huang Ying Zheng," and the musical "Black Star," which was published in the script journal on August 1, 1996. In 1995, he planned the creation and performance of the musical "Black Star," with two versions written by Sun Yunwen; the second version was formally published.
He currently serves as Director of the Teaching Supervision Office at the China Conservatory of Music, overseeing graduate courses including "Music Literature Documents," "Opera Studies," and "Introduction to Poetry and Theatrical Works."
