Introduction
Princess Yunmeng, named Zhu Xuanyuan, was born in 1584 and died in 1587. She was a princess of the Ming Dynasty. She was the fourth daughter of Emperor Shenzong of Ming and the full sister of Emperor Guangzong. Her mother was Consort Wang Gong. The princess was born in the 12th year of the Wanli reign, in the seventh month, Gengchen day. She passed away at the age of four and was buried together with Princess Xianju, Princess Jingle, and King Bian'ai and other half-sisters and half-brothers at Jingshan. During the excavation of Dingling, three sets of children's clothing were unearthed, made of silk, gauze, and tiao silk, all in yellow, and well-preserved. The silk garment was cross-collared, straight-sleeved, collarless, and decorated with pheasant feather patterns. These items may be relics of Princess Yunmeng. In 2023, her tomb was excavated at Siwangfu Village in the Fragrant Hills, Beijing.
