Elizabeth Janet Dorcas Johnson, born in 1786 and deceased in 1818, was the daughter of Joshua Johnson, a merchant who lived from 1742 to 1802. She was also the mother of Louisa Adams, who married John Quincy Adams, the President of the United States from 1825 to 1829, and who served as First Lady during that time.
