Introduction
Captain George Robinette, born around 1756 in Frederick, Maryland, and passing in 1831, was the progenitor in a lineage that includes Jesse Robinette, born in 1776 in Flintstone, Allegany, Maryland, and Moses J. Robinette, born in 1819, who was the son of Jesse Robinette. This lineage further includes George Hamilton Robinette (1844–1914) and Mary Elizabeth Robinette (1894–1943), the latter being the paternal grandmother of Joseph Robinette Biden Jr., the 46th President of the United States.
