Jin Qiaoqiao was born on April 21, 1975, in Shenyang, Liaoning Province. Her family background is that of senior intellectuals; both her parents are university teachers. From a young age, she showed a strong interest in the arts, including singing and dancing. During her youth, she studied dance at the Youth Palace and began learning artistic gymnastics at age nine.
