Mordecai Rice Harding

Mordecai Rice Harding was an American farmer and church deacon, born in 1795 and passing away in 1870. He was the son of Amos Harding, who was born in 1764 in Orange County, New York, and died in 1839 in Blooming Grove. Harding's family lineage includes George Tryon Harding, his descendant and son of Charles Alexander Harding, who lived from 1820 to 1878, and George Tryon Harding, Sr., an American physician and businessman born in 1790 and deceased in 1860. Warren G. Harding, the twenty-ninth President of the United States, was the son of George Tryon Harding, Sr.
