Caroline Maria Vernon

Caroline Maria Vernon is the daughter of Lady Evelyn Leveson-Gower, who was the daughter of John Leveson-Gower, 1st Earl Gower, and Lady Evelyn Pierrepont. Lady Evelyn Leveson-Gower lived from 1724 to 1763. Louisa Petty, the Countess of Shelburne, was also a daughter of Lady Evelyn Leveson-Gower and was the wife of William Petty, 2nd Earl of Shelburne. William Petty, 2nd Earl of Shelburne, served as a British Prime Minister and lived from 1737 to 1805; he was also the second husband of Louisa Petty, Countess of Shelburne, who lived from 1755 to 1789.
