Introduction
Zhu Yiling was born in 1562 and was the second son of Ming Emperor Muzong. His mother was Lady Li, the Consort of King Yu. She was posthumously honored as Empress Xiaoyi Zhuang. Zhu Yiling died shortly after birth and did not reach adulthood. He was posthumously titled Prince of Lantian and, in the first year of Longqing (1567), was further posthumously honored as Prince Jingdao. His remains were buried in Jinshan.
