Dalton Lee

Vivian Hsu, born in June 1970 in Taipei, Taiwan, is a renowned Taiwanese actress, singer, and host. She gradually gained recognition in the 1990s through her appearances in television dramas and the release of music albums, later achieving widespread success in the entertainment industry. She has received numerous awards, including multiple Golden Bell Awards and Golden Melodies Awards, making her an important figure in the Chinese entertainment scene.

In 2014, Vivian Hsu married Singaporean businessman Lee Yung Feng. After marriage, the couple settled in Singapore, enjoying a happy family life. On August 13, 2015, she gave birth to her child, Dalton Lee, via cesarean section at Elizabeth Hospital in Singapore. Dalton was born weighing 2 kilograms at 32 weeks gestation, making him a premature baby. Immediately after birth, he was taken to the intensive care unit (ICU) and placed on full-body intubation treatment.

During her pregnancy, Vivian experienced considerable difficulties. Due to health reasons, she was bedridden for a total of 142 days to maintain fetal health, receiving 300 antenatal injections. She prepared for her upcoming arrival by adjusting her diet and reading parenting books. During her third month of pregnancy, she publicly expressed her wish for her child to be chubby while she remains slim.

Dalton’s prematurity required special medical care after birth. It was not until September 12, 2015, that mother and son were out of danger. Vivian shared her experience on social media, posting photos showing her son resting at home and describing his early need for continuous intubation. She mentioned that seeing her son with tubes all over his body moved her to tears during her postpartum confinement, lasting about an hour before she gradually accepted the reality. She has been dedicated to caring for her child's health.

Vivian often emphasizes the importance of family on public platforms. Her marriage is stable, and her family members share a harmonious relationship. She has previously shared moments of her parenting journey on social media, reflecting her sense of maternal responsibility and love for her family.
