Zhao Yufang

Zhao Benshan, a renowned Chinese comedy actor and director, was born in October 1957 in Tieling City, Liaoning Province. His family members include his ex-wife Ge Shuzhen, his eldest daughter Zhao Yufang, and his son Tie Dan (deceased). Zhao Benshan experienced multiple changes in his family life; in 1991, he divorced Ge Shuzhen, during which all his assets were handed over to his ex-wife and children for custody, and he chose to "leave with nothing." After the divorce, he married Ma Lijuan in Shenyang City in October 1992.

Zhao Yufang was born on August 21, 1979, in Shiqiao Gou Village, Lianhua Township, Kaiyuan County, Tieling City. Four years later, Zhao Benshan’s son Tie Dan was born but died early due to congenital disabilities.

During her childhood, Zhao Yufang achieved excellent academic results. Around 1994, she was admitted to Dalian Foreign Languages University and was accompanied by her mother, Ge Shuzhen, for her studies. After graduating in 2003, Zhao Yufang began working at the Dalian Public Security Bureau. Around 2004, with her father Zhao Benshan founding the Benshan Art College, Zhao Yufang returned to Shenyang to join the college and engaged in related work. On October 6, 2008, Zhao Yufang married Wang Yang in Tieling. The wedding was held at a star-rated hotel in Tieling, attended by Zhao Benshan and his apprentices, creating a lively scene.

The wedding theme was pink, decorated with large screens and flowers, creating a grand yet cozy atmosphere. Zhao Benshan delivered a speech emphasizing "love that is equal, selfless, and eternal," and advised the newlyweds to be self-reliant and work together. He also expressed his concern for his daughter's future, hoping her husband would treat her well and wishing for family harmony. The scene was touching, attended by many relatives, friends, and media representatives, showcasing the simplicity and warmth of the family.

Zhao Benshan has always valued family connections and kept a low profile regarding his daughter’s marriage, emphasizing sincere feelings and family harmony. He has repeatedly stated in public that "marrying off a daughter is a family matter" and expressed deep affection for his daughter and good wishes for her future during the wedding. Additionally, he remains active in his career, filming new dramas in Shenyang to show his attachment to his hometown and his profession.
