Introduction
Zhu Youji, whose courtesy name is somewhere unspecified, was born in 1609. He was the third son of Ming Emperor Guangzong Zhu Changluo, with his mother serving as a maid named Wang Xuan. Zhu Youji passed away at the age of eight and did not reach adulthood. During the reign of Emperor Chongzhen, his half-brother, Emperor Chongzhen, posthumously honored him as the King of Qisi.
