Abigail Dibble

Abigail Dibble, born in 1666 and deceased in 1725, is an ancestor in a genealogical lineage that includes Rutherford B. Hayes, the President of the United States from 1877 to 1881. She is the mother of Daniel Hayes, whose son Ezekiel Hayes was born in 1724 or 1725 in Simsbury and died in New Haven, Connecticut, in 1817. Ezekiel Hayes is the father of Rutherford Hayes, born in 1756 and died in 1836, who is the father of Rutherford Hayes Jr., born in 1787 and died in 1822, and ultimately, Rutherford B. Hayes is descended from this lineage.
