Introduction
Daili Wang Zhu Xuntao (1393–1418), was the eldest son of the first generation of Dài Wang Zhu Jian Wang of the Ming Dynasty. His mother was Consort Xu, a granddaughter of Xu Da, and a cousin and niece of Emperor Renzong of Ming. Born in 1393, he was granted the title of Dài heir apparent in 1404 (the second year of Yongle). During his tenure as heir apparent, he endured fourteen years, frequently facing opposition from his father, Emperor Zhu Gui. He passed away in 1418 (the sixteenth year of Yongle), with the posthumous title of Mourning Li Heir Apparent. After his death, he was posthumously honored as Dài Li Wang, and his oldest son Zhu Shili succeeded him as Dài Wang. His consort was Lady Hu, daughter of Commander Hu Sheng of the Central Cavalry. In June of 1412 (the tenth year of Yongle), she was enfeoffed as Dài Heir Apparent's Consort. His children included Dài Yin Wang Zhu Shilu and Changhua Wenzhen Wang Zhu Shitan, both born to Lady Huang, as well as Lady Yibin Yang Zhen of Ma Yi County.
