Mary Thompson

Mary Thompson is the daughter of Col. Abraham Gardiner and is connected to a family with notable historical figures. Her grandfather, Col. Abraham Gardiner, lived from 1720 to 1782, and her father, Capt. Abraham Gardiner, who was born in 1763 and died in 1796, was the son of Col. Abraham Gardiner. David Gardiner, also a son of Capt. Abraham Gardiner, was an American politician and the father of Julia Gardiner Tyler. Julia Gardiner Tyler, who lived from 1820 to 1889, was the wife of John Tyler, the President of the United States from 1841 to 1845.
