Introduction

Princess Chani of the Aisin Gioro clan (Manchu: ᡠᡴ᠋ᠰᡠᠨ ᠴᠠᠨᡳ;transliterated: Uksun Cani); also known as Mutinde (transliteration: uksun cani); lived from 1640 to 1688. A Manchu of the Aisin Gioro clan. Grandson of Nurhaci, the founding emperor of the Qing dynasty. Fourth son of Yutong Qinwang Dodo, and mother was Celestial Consort Tongjia.

Life and official positions:

- 1656 (Shunzhi 13th year): Enfeoffed as Dorobale (a noble title).

- 1668 (Kangxi 7th year): Appointed Left Vice-Minister of the Zongren Office, participated in political consultations.

- 1670 (Kangxi 9th year): Served as Deputy Chief of the Jade Gazette Office.

- 1673 (Kangxi 12th year): During the Revolt of the Three Feudatories, followed Prince Shuncheng Lel Jinjun to Huguang to suppress Wu Sangui, served as Military Advisor.

- 1674 (Kangxi 13th year): Defeated Wu Sangui's general Wu Yinglin with an army of 70,000.

- 1675 (Kangxi 14th year): Carried the imperial seal of Jingkou, aided in rescuing Gucheng, attacked Niupi Yakou, Huanglianping, and seized Xing Shan.

- 1676 (Kangxi 15th year): Suffered setbacks in ambushes in Taiping Street, received reprimand.

- 1678 (Kangxi 17th year): Appointed General Peacekeeper of An Yuan, submitted a memorial to Emperor Kangxi proposing strategies to cut off rebel supplies and to trap the enemy.

- 1679 (Kangxi 18th year): Reclaimed Yuezhou, pacified Wu Sangui's officials and over 600 officers, totaling more than 5,000 troops, assisted Prince Yuelu in capturing Hengzhou.

- 1680 (Kangxi 19th year): Conquered Chenlongguan, reclaimed Chengzhou, garrisoned troops in Yuanzhou. In November, due to having retreated earlier, was demoted to a civilian noble.

- 1685 (Kangxi 24th year): Promoted to Shengjing General.

- 1688 (Kangxi 27th year): Died in September; posthumously awarded the title of Duke Helping the Nation (Fuguo Gong), with the posthumous style “Ke Xi” (恪僖).
