Introduction
Yinji, son of the Kangxi Emperor of the Qing Dynasty, was officially recognized as the twenty-fourth son but did not receive a formal title due to his early death. His biological mother was Consort Hesheri, sister of Empress Xiaochengren. He was born on the twenty-sixth day of the first lunar month in the thirty-first year of Kangxi’s reign, which corresponds to February 23, 1691, in the Gregorian calendar. The exact birthplace is not clearly recorded in existing historical materials.
Yinji lived for only two months and died on the first day of the third lunar month of the same year, which is March 30, 1691, in the Gregorian calendar. There are no clear records regarding his education, personal accomplishments, military involvement, or political duties.
In terms of family relations, Yinji was a son of Kangxi Emperor, with his mother being from the Hesheri clan, sister of Empress Xiaochengren. Due to his early death, he was not included in the formal royal titles or succession order for princes. Historical records provide extremely limited information about his life, mentioning only his existence as part of the imperial genealogy.
