Rong Zhinan

Rong Zhinan is a member of the prominent Rong family, one of China’s most influential industrial and entrepreneurial families. He is the son of Rong Weiren and the grandson of Rong Desheng. The Rong family is renowned for its contributions to national industry and commerce, embodying the spirit of ‘prospering the nation through industry.’

Born in Shanghai, Rong Zhinan grew up in an environment deeply rooted in business tradition and social responsibility. His father, Rong Weiren, passed away at a young age, and the family’s affairs were subsequently maintained by his grandfather Rong Desheng and other senior family members.

As an adult, Rong Zhinan continued the family’s legacy in industry and investment, engaging in business ventures in both Hong Kong and overseas markets. He married Sha Zengyan, and together they have children.

As a third-generation representative of the Rong family, Rong Zhinan has played a role in preserving the family’s entrepreneurial values and cultural heritage, bridging the family’s influence between mainland China and Hong Kong.
