Ma Tingqiang

Ma Tingqiang, born in 1956, is a businessman born in Hong Kong. Among his family members are the late Ma Xiru and Ma Xizhen, founders of the Oriental Press Group and the Hong Kong Oriental Daily. Regarding his early career, Ma Tingqiang worked at the Oriental Press Group, mainly engaged in external affairs. In 1998, he left his former position and started his own business, establishing six companies including Baogui Industry Co., Ltd. and Harbour View Holdings Limited, involved in investment, healthcare, and charitable projects.

In terms of personal life, Ma Tingqiang held his wedding in 2009 at his luxury home in Sydney, Australia. His spouse is the well-known Hong Kong artist Rita Lem. The wedding was financed by him with approximately 1 million RMB, arranged with a private jet, professional caregivers, and physiotherapists to ensure that Rita Lem’s brother, Li Ying, could attend and witness the ceremony. Subsequently, on July 24, 2010, Rita Lem gave birth to a pair of twin daughters, Jia Wei and Jia Mei, via cesarean section at Canossa Hospital in Hong Kong. On the day of delivery, Ma Tingqiang personally visited his wife and the newborns at the hospital and publicly stated that everything was normal within the family.
