Yang Wenchang

Yang Wenchang was born on November 6, 2009, in Hong Kong, China. During his childhood, he participated in the star interview show "Very Quiet Distance" in September 2010, which was his first appearance on television. On July 23, 2013, he appeared on the talk show "Yiheng Yu" together with his parents.

On April 19, 2014, Yang Wenchang made his debut on the variety show "Happy Camp" on Hunan TV, attracting online attention after introducing himself as "My name is Yang Wenchang this year." That same year, he became a regular guest on the parent-child interactive reality show "Where Are We Going, Dad? Season 2" on Hunan TV, teaming up with his father Yang Wei to perform the theme song "Where Are We Going, Dad." On July 15, 2014, with 319,754 votes, he was ranked first in popularity based on viewership on iQiyi and PPS platforms, as well as Baidu search and interaction comments.

On August 1, 2014, Yang Wenchang accompanied his father at the "How to Train Your Dragon" Super Fantasy Theater Show held at the Bird's Nest in Beijing. In October, he and his parents traveled to Nanning to attend the live World Artistic Gymnastics Championships, cheering for Chinese athletes. CCTV5 broadcast news videos for four consecutive days explaining the rules of gymnastics events such as the rings, vault, horizontal bar, and floor exercise. Additionally, he recorded the voiceover for the "Lamb Lamb Lamb Version" trailer of the animated film "Madagascar Penguins" produced by DreamWorks. At the end of the year, he participated in the star-parent-child puzzle reality show "Crazy Maki Season 2."

In January 2015, Yang Wenchang provided voice acting for the young Xi Yangyang character in the animated film "Pleasant Goat and Big Big Wolf: Happy New Year," and performed the theme song "Don't Look at Me Just as a Goat." On February 19, he starred in the film "Where Are We Going, Dad? 2," playing the role of Yang Yangyang. The film earned 50 million yuan on its opening day and ultimately grossed 221 million yuan. On April 24, he participated in the Jiangsu TV reality show "Fight for Her." On May 12, he was awarded the title of "Happy Gymnastics Image Ambassador" by the China Gymnastics Association and received an honorary certificate.

In March 2017, Yang Wenchang began systematic gymnastics training. In October, he participated in the "Yang Wei Cup" Gymnastics Competition in Hubei Province and placed third in the vault event. In July 2018, he assisted as a young host at the 4th Hubei "Yang Wei Cup" Gymnastics Competition.

On May 31, 2020, Yang Wenchang participated in the Hunan TV Children's Day evening show "Looking Forward to the Future: Children's Day Fun Sports Event Special Live Broadcast," performing a group song titled "You Don't Understand Kids" with Zou Mingxuan, Zou Minghao, and Cai Xuanzheng.

Regarding his family, his father is Yang Wei, a former Chinese gymnast and Olympic champion, and his mother is Yang Yun, a former captain of the Chinese women's gymnastics team. In 2017, his twin sister was born.

Academically, Yang Wenchang completed kindergarten on June 28, 2015, and then advanced to elementary school. In 2022, he finished elementary school and moved on to middle school.

Yang Wenchang has demonstrated strong performance skills across many programs and works, and his influence continues to grow.
