Janine Jaquet

Janine Jaquet has worked as a newspaper and magazine reporter, and later as an Emmy-winning producer of television news, public affairs, and documentary programming. She has taught writing at Johns Hopkins University and New York University (NYU). She has contributed to The Nation magazine and later joined its nonprofit affiliate. As of 2019, she held a position as Associate Dean for Alumni & Development, Strategy & Professional Programs at Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism. She was married to Frank Biden in 1985; their marriage ended in divorce in the 1990s, and they have a daughter Alana Jaquet Biden.
