Introduction
Cai Shaozhong, male. After graduating in March 2001 from the Canadian International School in Singapore, he joined Want Want Group. He subsequently held management positions across multiple functions within Want Want Group, including logistics, human resources, information technology, planning and operations, accumulating cross-disciplinary work experience. From 2007 to June 2020, he served as a director of Want Want You-Lian Property & Casualty Insurance Co., Ltd., a company listed on the Taiwan Stock Exchange. From July 2009 to June 2019, he served as a non-executive director of Want Want Group Co., Ltd. From 2015 to 2017, he served as an independent non-executive director of Netccentric Limited, which is listed on the Australian Securities Exchange. On December 16, 2015, he attended the opening ceremony of the Second World Internet Conference as a guest. Since March 2009, he has served as a director of the Straits Exchange Foundation. Under Part XV of the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Ordinance, Want Power Holdings Limited and Norwares Overseas Inc. hold the shareholding interests that must be disclosed by the Foundation; Mr. Cai Shaozhong is a director of these two companies. From July 1, 2019, he was reassigned as an executive director of Want Want Group, and serves as a director of multiple subsidiaries of the group.
