Introduction

Guo Qilin was born on February 8, 1996, and his ancestral hometown is Tianjin. During his childhood, he lived with his grandparents in Tianjin, where he developed a strong interest in crosstalk (xiangsheng) art, influenced by his father Guo Degang's talent in xiangsheng. In 2004, Guo Qilin graduated from Qiuzhen Primary School in Hongqiao District, Tianjin, and subsequently moved to Beijing to attend Beijing 21st Century Experimental School. On July 4, 2009, he officially became a disciple of the comedian Qian and joined Deyun Society.

In June 2011, Guo Qilin dropped out of school and joined Deyun Society as a xiangsheng performer. In the same year, he held a solo xiangsheng performance at Guangde Tower, performing traditional works, which gradually demonstrated his maturing stage response abilities. On June 24, 2012, he held a solo xiangsheng show, collaborating with Yan Hexiang and Qian, and created several works. Since then, he has served as the host of numerous variety shows, including "Happy Times" on Tianjin TV, a collaboration between Tianjin TV and Deyun Society.

Between 2013 and 2016, Guo Qilin gradually expanded his entertainment scope to include film, television dramas, variety shows, and voice acting. In 2015, he starred in his first urban comedy film, "Crosstalk Movie: I Want Happiness," playing Feng Qiancheng. In 2016, he participated in the Shanghai Dragon Television comedy show "Joyful Comedians Season 2," performing group crosstalk with Yue Yunpeng and Yu Qian, showcasing his versatility across various variety programs. In 2017, he starred in the urban sitcom "In the Wilderness," attracting attention. That same year, he won the championship of "Joyful Comedians Season 3."

Starting from 2018, Guo Qilin began taking on diverse roles in film and TV dramas, such as playing Wang Baobao, the "Youthful Flying Dragon," in the film "Ancestor 19." In 2019, he appeared in the costume drama "Joy of Life," playing Fan Sizhe, receiving acclaim. In 2020, he starred in the film "Pet Love" and won the Golden Angel Award at the China-US Film Festival.
