Introduction

Liu Genghong, born in October 1979, is from Taipei, Taiwan. During his upbringing, he demonstrated a strong passion for sports, especially basketball. As a child, he was often active on the court and capable of performing high-difficulty moves such as two-handed dunks. After graduating from junior high school, he moved to Taipei to develop his career and was admitted to the Guoguang Art School. During his time at the art school, although he did not perform outstandingly in the entrance exams, his sincerity and simplicity earned recognition from his teachers, allowing him to study acting.

While at school, Liu Genghong became a focal point for his excellent basketball skills. In 1990, on the recommendation of his teachers, he starred in his first TV drama, "Jia Jia Fu," playing the role of哥哥达夫 (Brother Dafu), which marked the beginning of his acting career. In 2005, on the recommendation of friend Jay Chou, he played the villain Yokichi in the film "Initial D," which began to garner wider attention. In 2006, he released his first solo album "Rainbow Heaven," with many songs composed by himself and music videos directed by Jay Chou.

In 2007, he collaborated with Jay Chou on the film "The Big Shaq," playing basketball traitor Li Tian. In 2009, he starred as the martial arts expert Friday in the film "The Stuntwoman," earning high praise from martial arts director Cheng Xiaodong. In 2010, Liu Genghong played the main antagonist Iron Man Yuan Lie in the film "Su Qi'er." During this time, he gradually diversified his career, engaging in film and television, music, and fitness.

In 2012, he served as a producer and had a cameo in the film "Love on the Roof." In 2013, he played a role requiring complex inner emotions in the movie "Joker's Personal Space," showcasing his versatility. In recent years, Liu Genghong has continued to participate in various variety shows, films, and public welfare activities. In 2018, he played the special forces veteran Lao Mao in the web film "Mad War," directed by Jiang Jingzhong. In 2021, he was the producer and a special actor in the film "Clashing Winds." In 2022, he gained immense popularity through fitness live streams and online content, creating viral internet terms like "Liu Genghong Girl," with his fan base reaching tens of millions, making him an influential figure in sports and entertainment.

Aside from his acting career, he has published several books on fitness and actively engages in public welfare, serving as the face of numerous charity activities. In 2007, he married Wang Wanfei, with whom he has one son and one daughter. Moreover, he frequently appears in social activities related to public service, environmental protection, and national fitness, continuing to exert influence across multiple fields.
