Lady Elizabeth Cavendish

Lady Elizabeth Cavendish, who died in 1747, was the daughter of William Cavendish, the 2nd Duke of Devonshire. Her father, William Cavendish, the 2nd Duke of Devonshire, lived from 1672 to 1729 and was a British nobleman and politician. He was the father of William Cavendish, the 3rd Duke of Devonshire, a British nobleman and Whig politician, and the grandfather of William Cavendish, the 4th Duke of Devonshire, who served as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.
