Margaret Smith

Margaret Smith (1734–1812) was the mother of William Stephens Smith and Charles Adams. Charles Adams, who was the son of John Adams, lived from 1770 to 1800. John Adams, a prominent figure and president of the United States from 1797 to 1801, was the father of Charles Adams and John Quincy Adams. John Quincy Adams, who served as president of the United States from 1825 to 1829, was the son of John Adams. Sarah Smith, the daughter of Margaret Smith, was married to Charles Adams; she lived from 1769 to 1828.
