Tong Jisheng

Since 1976, this individual has been engaged in music creation, producing nearly 200 songs, instrumental pieces, and dance music works. His works encompass multiple musical genres, granting him a certain influence within China's music industry. He has also served multiple times as a planner, director, and judge for concerts, galas, and music competitions.

In terms of career experience, in 1986, he was appointed as the Executive Vice Chairman and Secretary-General of the Ili Kazakh Autonomous Prefecture Musicians Association. Later, in 1997, he became Secretary-General of the Xinjiang Musicians Association. On June 26, 2006, he was elected as the Sixth Executive Vice Chairman and Secretary-General of the Xinjiang Musicians Association. Additionally, he holds the position of Director of the Xinjiang Music Grading Committee.

His roles in the music industry also include membership on the boards of the sixth and seventh Chinese Musicians Associations, as well as being a member of the Social Music Experts Committee of the Chinese Musicians Association. He has served as a member of the fourth, fifth, and sixth Xinjiang Federation of Literary and Art Circles, and as a member of the Autonomous Region Children’s Art Expert Committee. He holds a Level II professional technical title in composition.

Regarding representative works, he has participated in editing over twenty music albums and song collections, including titles such as "A Beautiful River in Xinjiang," "Beautiful Xinjiang," "Your Beauty Cannot Be Hidden by a Veil," "Beautiful Girl," "Charming Xinjiang," "Fifty Years of Songs," "New Songs Singing Xinjiang," and "Muqam." These works have been performed multiple times at various concerts and cultural exchanges.

Furthermore, he has led teams on visits to Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Germany, France, Italy, Austria, and Switzerland for competitions and cultural exchanges, promoting international dialogue and cooperation in music and culture.

On a personal note, he is the father of mainland Chinese actress and dancer TongLiya. His ongoing career in the music industry has led to extensive experience in management and creation, establishing him as a influential music professional in the Xinjiang region.
