Introduction
Joseph Strutt, who lived from 1724 to 26 December 1794, was the father of Martha Stratham Strutt. His daughter Martha was born in 1762 and died in approximately 1824. Martha Stratham Strutt was the mother of Joseph Chamberlain, a British politician born in 1836 and who lived until 1914. Joseph Chamberlain was the father of Neville Chamberlain, who served as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom from 1937 to 1940.
