Ho Shik Kei was a member of the prominent Ho Tung family in Hong Kong, the ninth son of Ho Fook (1863–1926), a leading comprador, entrepreneur, philanthropist, and one of the 'Five Great Chinese Merchants.'

As part of the influential Eurasian Ho clan, Ho Shik Kei maintained the family’s prominence in Hong Kong society.

He married Doris Rothwell (Luo Qiaozhen), further strengthening the Ho family’s connections with Eurasian elite circles.

Together, they had several children, including Ho Hung-ching (Algernon), Ho Hung-ka (Ronald), Ho Man-yeung (Pamela), Ho Man-lun (Cecilia), Ho Hung-luen (Eric Peter, who married Yang Zhanqiao), Ho Yau-kan, Ho Chung-tak, and Ho Yau-hing.

Through this lineage, Ho Shik Kei’s descendants continued to play roles in Hong Kong’s business and social spheres, forming an important branch of the expansive Ho family network.
