Introduction
King Teng Huai Zhu Zhankai, illegitimate son of Ming Emperor Renzong Zhu Gaochi, his mother was Consort Gongsu Guo. He was born in November 1409. On October 11, the 22nd year of the Yongle reign (November 1, 1424), he was granted the title of Prince of Teng and established a residence in Yunnan, but he never assumed the position. His reign lasted for one year. He passed away on August 26, 1425, at the age of seventeen. He was posthumously named Huai and buried on Xishan. His mother, Consort Guo, was also buried with him shortly after his death, and the title of Prince of Teng was abolished.
