Hong Yan, born in 1978, entered the entertainment industry in 2004. That year, she played Yin Xiaochai in the TV drama "Beijing's Four Young Masters" directed by Bai Gang, officially launching her acting career. In 2006, Hong Yan portrayed Princess of Yue in the drama "Legend of the Battle for Supremacy," directed by Cai Jingsheng.
