Introduction
Heneage Drummond (1810–1881) was the son of Barbara Chester, who was the daughter of Charles Chester. Charles Chester (1730–1793) was the grandfather of Heneage Drummond. Mary Chester, who died in 1846, was also a daughter of Charles Chester and the wife of Robert Jenkinson, the 2nd Earl of Liverpool, who served as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom from 1812 to 1827. Barbara Chester, Heneage Drummond’s mother, died in 1832.
