Shun Shuhan, born in China, is the daughter of Sun Yueqi. Her exact date of birth and early educational background have not been publicly disclosed. She has dedicated herself to inheriting her father's spirit and legacy, actively participating in educational and charitable endeavors. In 2009, the leadership of China University of Mining and Technology (Beijing) visited Shun Shuhan and her family to learn about the university’s development and highly praised Sun Yueqi’s contributions to the mining industry. During this exchange, Shun Shuhan expressed her hopes for the faculty and students of the university, emphasizing her desire to continue preserving her father’s spiritual legacy.

In 2021, Shun Shuhan and her husband donated a total of 414,884 yuan, comprising Sun Yueqi’s savings and related funds from his lifetime, to Yueqi Middle School, establishing a teacher and student reward fund to support the school’s development and educational activities. Additionally, they have visited Yueqi Middle School multiple times, engaged in patriotic education activities, supported the construction of the Sun Yueqi Memorial Hall, and encouraged teachers and students to carry forward Sun Yueqi’s spirit.

Shun Shuhan has often recounted stories about her father, Sun Yueqi. According to her, in his later years, Sun Yueqi remained concerned about the development of Yumen Oil Mine. She mentioned that when he was 97 years old (the records from 2009 and 2021 reflect this age), he would climb out through a small kitchen window to attend meetings with old colleagues at the oil mine to avoid issues at his home; this demonstrated his dedication to his work and old friends. She also recounted that, during the imminent fall of the Kuomintang authority, Sun Yueqi resolutely refused to migrate to Taiwan, choosing instead to stay on the mainland to protect industrial enterprises and believed that the Communist Party had won the trust of the people.

Currently, there are no publicly available detailed records regarding Shun Shuhan’s specific year of birth, upbringing, educational background, or other family members. Her primary identity centers on being the daughter of Sun Yueqi and her active role in inheriting and promoting her father’s spirit and contributions, especially in the fields of education and charity.
