Abigail Hale

Abigail Hale, born on July 3, 1718, in Enfield, Connecticut, and died around June 18, 1796, was the mother of Abigail Chandler, who was born on September 11, 1741, in Enfield, Connecticut, and died in October 1791 in Bainbridge, New York. Abigail Chandler was the mother of Chloe Smith, born on November 10, 1762, in South Hadley, Massachusetts, and died on February 17, 1847, in Brattleboro. Chloe Smith was the mother of Rutherford Hayes, Jr., who was the father of Rutherford B. Hayes, the President of the United States from 1877 to 1881. Rutherford Hayes, Jr. was the son of Rutherford Hayes, Jr., who lived from 1787 to 1822.
