Tang Lingling

Tang Lingling, born in the 1950s, initially worked as a kindergarten teacher in her early years. In 1986, she accompanied a friend to participate in the selection event for Shandong Province's first model team. After three rounds of interviews, she was successfully selected and became one of the 12 founding members of the Jinan Qilu Model Team. The establishment of this model team is considered the beginning of professional modeling performances in Shandong Province and is referred to in the industry as "fashion performance actors."

In the modeling industry, Tang Lingling served as the first team captain of the Qilu Model Team. She is 170 centimeters tall and, with her excellent physique and elegant demeanor, she quickly developed a distinctive personal style in the early stages of her career. As a team member, she maintained strict discipline over her physique. During her daughter Ge Tian’s studies at the Central Academy of Drama (Zhongxi), Ge Tian described her mother as "an absolute beauty."

Throughout her career, Tang Lingling not only participated in modeling activities but also gradually transitioned into management roles. She worked as a model for the Jinan Qilu Model Team, later becoming the general manager of the Shandong branch of Beijing Poly Theater Management Co., Ltd., thereby becoming active in the performing arts industry in Shandong. She played a role in promoting high-level performances and concerts, and her demeanor, cultivation, and artistic management skills have been recognized within the industry.

Regarding her family life, in 2014, widespread attention was triggered by her daughter Ge Tian's marriage to the renowned athlete Liu Xiang. Tang Lingling issued clarifications to the media on several rumors, including denying that Ge Tian had undergone plastic surgery, emphasizing that her daughter’s status as a soldier at the time made international travel inconvenient, and stating she had not accepted invitations from modeling websites. She also pointed out that her daughter was focused on her studies as a student during that period. Additionally, she revealed that Ge Tian had harbored admiration for Liu Xiang since her youth.

The media once released images of Tang Lingling wearing a low-cut evening gown. As a member of China's first modeling team from Shandong Province, she participated in many significant public events.
