Newdigate Hooper Kearney Burne, who died in 1898, was married to Caroline Penelope Addington, the daughter of William Leonard Addington, the 2nd Viscount Sidmouth. William Leonard Addington, who lived from 1794 to 1864, was the son of Henry Addington, the 1st Viscount Sidmouth, who served as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom from 1801 to 1804.
