Sun Shumin, widow of Ling Fangzhen, the eldest brother of Ling Jianxing; a Beijing educated youth who was dispatched to the countryside in Shanxi. After Ling Fangzhen passed away prematurely in 1977, Sun Shumin moved back to Beijing to live. In 2002, she co-founded Beijing Pinyang Advertising Co., Ltd. with Li Shuling from Jilin. In 2004, she co-invested with Guo Shumin and Li Lizhen to establish Beijing Huanguang Advertising Co., Ltd. Her children include Ling Hu Jian and Ling Hu Yan.
