Mary Day

Mary Day, born on December 15, 1666, and died on April 29, 1723, was the mother of Abigail Merrick, who was born in 1702 and died in 1791. Abigail Merrick was the mother of Abigail Phelps, who lived from 1731 to 1816. Abigail Phelps was the mother of Drusilla Austin, who lived from 1762 to 1813. Drusilla Austin was the mother of Sophia Birchard, who was the mother of Rutherford B. Hayes, the 19th president of the United States, serving from 1877 to 1881, and who lived from 1792 to 1866.
