Introduction
Zhu Shangbing (朱尚炳), born on 25 November 1380 and deceased on 21 April 1412, was a Chinese prince of the Ming dynasty. He held the title of Prince of Qin (秦王). Zhu Shangbing was the eldest son of Zhu Shuang, who was Prince Min of Qin. He was a ninth grandson of the Hongwu Emperor and the maternal grandson of Deng Yu.
In 1395, Zhu Shangbing inherited the title of Prince of Qin. He became the first hereditary prince (世子) in the Ming dynasty to inherit the title of prince (藩王). During his lifetime, he was involved in suppressing a rebellion led by Gao Fuxing, a native of Mian County (沔縣).
Zhu Shangbing was associated with at least two consorts. His primary consort was Consort Zheng, of the Liu clan, the daughter of Liu Sui. He had several children, including:
- Zhu Zhigeng (朱志堩), Prince Xi of Qin (秦僖王), born in 1404 and died in 1424; his second son.
- Furen (夫人), of the Tang clan.

- Zhu Zhiqie (朱志𡐤), Prince Kang of Qin (秦康王), born in 1404 and died in 1455; his third son.
- An unknown consort produced Zhu Zhibao (朱志堢), Prince Zhuangjing of Yichuan (宜川莊靖王), born in 1410 and died on 18 September 1448; his fourth son.
- His daughters included Princess Luonan (洛南郡主), Princess Hancheng (韓城郡主), and Princess Huayin (華陰郡主).
