Sham Kar Wai

Shen Jiahui, born in 1968, is originally from Hong Kong. He graduated from Lü Mingcai Middle School in Hong Kong in 1985 and began working in the banking industry, initially as a junior staff member. In 1988, he co-managed an apparel store called "Green Peace" in Times Square, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong, together with his brother. The store mainly sold British Dr. Martens shoes and Levi's jeans, targeting the young consumer market. As their business strategy evolved, Green Peace gradually expanded, acquiring agency rights for several European and American fashion brands, leading to steady growth.

In 1997, Green Peace was renamed I.T (short for Income Team) to avoid confusion with the international environmental organization Greenpeace. Subsequently, Shen Jiahui introduced Japanese brands and expanded into non-traditional retail areas such as Sha Tin and Tuen Mun in Hong Kong, with the number of stores increasing rapidly. By 2000, he had opened ten stores in Causeway Bay, making I.T one of the representative brands of youth fashion in Hong Kong. In 2005, the I.T Group was listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, with a market value reaching HKD 2 billion.

Regarding his personal life, Shen Jiahui married Chiu Sau-chun in 1999. The couple has three daughters named Shen Yue, Shen Ri, and Shen Chen. The eldest daughter, Shen Yue, was born in 2001; the second, Shen Ri, in 2005; and the youngest, originally named Shen Xing, later changed to Shen Chen. Reports indicate that family members often sail on private yachts, and the family has appeared together at various public events to show family harmony.

Among his family members, Shen Jiahui maintains a close relationship with his brother Shen Jianwei. Shen Jianwei serves as the Creative Director of I.T, responsible for design and procurement. His mother still resides in public housing in Wah Fu Village, reflecting traditional family values and emphasis on family ties.

Besides his business achievements, Shen Jiahui leads a low-profile personal life. He is introverted and once relied on friends and celebrity acquaintances for help with romantic matters such as proposals due to his shyness. His wife, Chiu Sau-chun, was a well-known actress in Hong Kong, famous for her sexy image, and has made significant contributions to both her career and family. The couple held a luxurious wedding in Japan and has frequently appeared together at public events. Shen Jiahui owns several luxury cars and has accumulated substantial assets through real estate investments. His personal and family wealth continues to grow, establishing him as one of Hong Kong’s prominent wealthy families.
