William Temple Washington

William Temple Washington, who lived from 1800 to 1877, was the son of Lucy Washington and the grandson of Mary Coles. Lucy Washington was the daughter of Mary Coles, who was the mother of Dolley Madison, the wife of James Madison, the President of the United States from 1809 to 1817 and First Lady during that period. William Temple Washington's mother, Lucy Washington, was married to the nephew of George Washington, who lived from 1772 to 1846.
