Timothy Steele

Timothy Steele is the son of Daniell Steele and Lucy Beach, and the grandson of Mary Steele, who was the daughter of Mary Butler. Mary Butler was born around 1670 and passed away on May 17, 1744, in Waterbury. Mary Steele’s lineage includes Ebenezer Hopkins Jr., born on June 24, 1699, in Hartford and who died around 1784 in Shaftsbury, as well as Tabitha Hopkins, born on October 16, 1745, in Harwinton, Connecticut, and Phoebe Millard, who was the daughter of Tabitha Hopkins. Millard Fillmore, the President of the United States from 1850 to 1853, was the son of Phoebe Millard.
