Introduction
Chen Geng-hua was born in 1924 in Huzhou, Zhejiang Province. In 1948, he went to the University of Chicago in the United States to pursue a master’s degree, specializing in metal fatigue. According to public records, he was among the few engineers in mainland China capable of repairing hospital X-ray machines.\nChen Geng-hua worked in the field of engineering for many years, with expertise in technical maintenance and equipment repair. He passed away shortly after New Year’s Day in 2013.
