She is the daughter of Elizabeth de Burgh, herself a noblewoman born in 1826 and died in 1854, and Elizabeth is the daughter of Harriet de Burgh, Marchioness of Clanricarde. Harriet de Burgh was the daughter of George Canning, a British Prime Minister, statesman, and politician who lived from 1770 to 1827.
