Li Danyu is Bo Xilai's first wife, a military doctor at the General Hospital of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, and the daughter of Li Xuefeng. She married Bo Xilai in 1976. In 1977, they had a son named Bo Wangzhi, who later changed his name to Li Wangzhi. They divorced in 1984.
