Stephen Willoughby Lawley

Stephen Willoughby Lawley, who lived from 1823 to 1905, was the son of Caroline Thompson, Lady Wenlock, and was a descendant of notable figures including William Wyndham Grenville, 1st Baron Grenville, a British Prime Minister and politician who lived from 1759 to 1834. Caroline Thompson, Lady Wenlock, was the daughter of Catherine Grenville, who in turn was the daughter of Elizabeth Wyndham. Elizabeth Wyndham was a British artist and writer born in 1720 and deceased in 1769.
