Takatsukasa Yoriko

is the daughter of Takatsukasa Masahiro, a Japanese court noble of the Edo period. She is the granddaughter of Takatsukasa Masamichi, a Kugyō or Japanese court noble of the late Edo period. Her father, Takatsukasa Masahiro, is the son of Takatsukasa Masamichi, and her paternal relatives include Takatsukasa Sukehiro, a noble of the 19th century, who is the son of Takatsukasa Masamichi, and Tokudaiji Kin'ito, the son of Takatsukasa Sukehiro. Saionji Kinmochi, a Japanese politician who lived from 1849 to 1940, is also connected through his son, Tokudaiji Kin'ito, who lived from 1821 to 1883.
